The Mission of LocalGovNews.org
is to encourage cooperation, collaboration
and innovation among local governments.
It is our hope that
LocalGovNews.org is used throughout the state of Illinois to:
- Identify Best Practices and Grant Opportunities
- Track legislation and reduce unfunded mandates
- Spur local organizations
to share successful practices with one another
- Give professionals
working at the local level access to new ideas
